Financial Times: Iranian Philanthropists outside of Iran & how they support art, culture and history of Iran

Financial Times of London has a very interesting article on a how group of Iranian philanthropists outside of Iran  connect with the art and culture of their homeland.  It is interesting that  sanctions and Western pressures on Iran has forced some of them to stay away from Iran, and put their support behind humanitarian projects not related to Iran.  Others have supported pre-Islamic heritage of Persia,  art and culture of Iran.   With the thaw in relations between Iran and the United States,   Iranian philanthropy may eventually reach Iran and those inside the country who need support.
